After reading the diary of Anne Frank, it is clear that while some people have superior intentions, people are still bad at heart. Consequently, nearly 6 million Jewish people have been exterminated during the holocaust. In the text, Mr. Frank stated ¨I went to Auschwitz, they went to Belsen.¨ (512). This statement concludes that people are cruel enough to tear apart families, and kill innocent people. Mr. Frank had hoped that Anne made it out of the camps alive.
