Anne Frank Optimism Examples

Could you imagine living your life as Anne Frank when you were 13 years old? In Anne's diary, she quotes, "In spite of everything, I still believe that people are good at heart." The young girl is many things, but one of them is not being negative. Optimism is part of what Anne is. Another thing that Anne does that inspires me is that she doesn't just look at people, she seeks out the best in them as well. Never losing hope for herself and others, and I believe that to this day. She still doesn't lose hope for others. For example, kids these days would get mad or act in a negative manner over the littlest things. For example, my one friend came to school with her jeans torn and she started hysterically crying. Anne Frank most likely had to wear the same clothes for a long time, with rips everywhere. Children normally become very spoiled and get greedy with things, Anne Frank had to use what she had, she didn't get anything special. Maybe every once in awhile she would get a book from the library.

The quote from Anne's diary, "In spite of everything, I still believe that people are good at heart" shows three specific things about Anne that I pointed out and explained already. One of the things that I pointed out was that Anne, out of all people, is very optimistic. Another thing is that Anne sees the good in people, who don't deserve that from her. The last thing I have pointed out from Anne Frank is that she never lost hope. Yeah, maybe once or twice, but if you went through the events she went through with having no hope, you would've wasted the time you still had when you were alive. Anne Frank became a very famous person, not just because of her being in the holocaust, but because of her actions, and attitude during that
