Not all families live by each other. So what if they lived far apart? Without technology there would be no way to communicate. Would you really want to cut off that line of communication from your own family? Of course there are also many other scenarios you can come up with, but this is one that seems to be important. What if you have to take an important phone call? One thing for example is a hearing aid. It can be used in you have trouble hearing or can’t hear at all . The sound gets caught by a mic and then it goes to an amplifier and finally the sound goes to a speaker that makes things louder. This is one piece of technology that helps people that aren’t able to hear as well as other to the best of their ability, with the help of a hearing aid of course. Another thing that can help people that have disabilities is a 3D printer. How it works is they first need a digital model that you would design on a computer. Then the digital printer would use a type of material to print out a 3d model of what is designed. How this could help with disabilities is people could use this to help other people. If for some reason someone is missing a limb, then if you have a 3d printer then you could help someone you know. The Public Broadcasting Service says that one in 2000 kids are born with some kind of hand or arm abnormally. Though a prosthetic limb is not as strong as a titanium expensive limb that kids will outgrow. It is a lot easier and a whole lot cheaper to make.
