Art and Culture Art, through the years have been defined in so many different ways. Whether it is for the artist to express their view on an issue, or to make art solely based on aesthetics. Some other definitions people have on what art is for include the use of political arguments, to tell the truth, to recreate or imitate. There are many other definitions as to what art can be. There is also a constant argument about what is good art or what is bad art. If art that is being displayed in a museum or being exhibited better than art that is not. What can be classified as art and what cannot be. Some examples would be a traditional painting done on a piece of canvas in comparison to a street artist, an artwork that displays an obvious message …show more content…
Where people and artists can have small talks with one another about what they feel of a certain piece of artwork. There are all sorts of art and it has mostly already been categorized and even taught to us in schools. Each individual has a preference or even a unique way of understanding each artwork no matter how direct it may be. To society, art is a common need. It is another way of getting a message across to another. Be it in a form of a speech, painting, sculpture, drawing or even performance. Art in society have been used in many ways. These many diversities which makes up the ethnical society is riddled by the conflicts that involved religion, ethnicity, ethical beliefs, and essentially whatever else that makes up culture. There are many points as to what defines a culture for example: our language, our religion, cuisine, social habits, music and the arts. As pointed out by De Rossi, culture is no longer fixed, if it ever was. Culture now is fluid and always-in motion. And now that countries are always improving and always on the go to finding something new, the word culture makes it difficult to be defined in only one way. Culture can also be referred to as a quality possessed by an individual as to say how one is being cultivated into believing something or to be behaving in a certain way. In the 21st century, based on personal experience, it has been put into our minds somehow that with money, the leisure to pursue and develop abroad has always deem to be the best opportunity and would be often perceived as part of a higher rank.
