Asoka was once ruthless ruler, but then after becoming enlightened ruler and try doing things to make up for it. He live for 28 years and rule most of central and northern india. Many people think he is now enlightened ruler, but he caused many deaths, so much suffering, and his unfairness is the reason why he will always be ruthless conqueror. First of all, He was the cause of many deaths on conquest to spread his empire.In document A it says 200,000 people die in the conquest of Kalinga in battle or from hunger or diseases. So Asoka, one conquest cause so many deaths also people who didn’t even forget in battles die from lack of food and no help them with diseases.

Next and foremost, suffering he cause was unbearable for what he did.
