Explain what the difference is between assault and felonious assault in the Ohio Revised Code. A complete answer must contain at least three differences. Both include "No person shall knowingly cause or attempt to cause physical harm to another or to another's unborn". Also it might deal with them rushing to get somewhere, an not liking how slow a driver in frount, is going. Why are assaults in a family home setting so dangerous for law enforcement officers? Because the law enforment officer does not know what is in the home. There have been set-ups where police get called, and once they get to the secen they're ambushed. The real danger comes from not knowing what the home has in it. Say a police officers is in our kitchen, If I wanted to hurt them I could get a knife. More than likily I'd be able to get the knife out, because they do not know where anything is kept in our home.
