It is normal for a breastfeeding mom to worry that your baby is not getting enough to eat, be-cause you cannot see or measure the amount they are getting. Babies sleep a lot the first few days of life; they are still adjusting from everything that just happened to them. When you are think-ing about breastfeeding, make sure that you are not waking your baby up out of a sound sleep. You can look for signs of the baby waking like twitching, moving around, or making sucking movements before getting them up. A few techniques that you can try on your baby before breastfeeding are taking the baby out of the blanket, changing the diaper, moving the arms and legs around and playing with the baby.
