Another thing for us to consider as another reason for low possible religious conflict is the fact of Christian’s evangelical intentions. In the Bible the book of Matthew 28:18-20 (NIV) states, “18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Jesus gave his followers the great commission, to go and spread the gospel. From the beginning of Christianity, it was through sharing the gospel that may converted, from the days of Jesus himself and himself 12 apostles converting others, along with John the Baptist, to the missionaries that the 17th-18th century British sent during the colonization era to modern day missionaries. History has seen many different ways that Christians have spread ted the gospel, and given that it happens to be the largest religion in the world, one might it was pretty successful. It is possible to consider that not all Christians evangelize. Evangelicals have grown from only 3 million in AD 1500, to 550 million worldwide, with 54% being Non-Whites, according to the Traveling Team. 7 percent of the world’s population are evangelical Christians. If that 7 percent of Christians is projected in the Christian population within the new country then over 70,000 Christians would be evangelical. This would be quite enough to spread the religion given that they were spread out and that during the colonial times in America, Britain sent our missionaries and succeed converting
