Imagine savage, dirty, rufian, rebellious patriots jeering towards the Boston Harbor to destroy tea supplied by the merciful British. Even after they tarred and feathered people for doing their job, and accusing their protectors of manslaughter; even when they were merely protecting themselves. Are these acts something a normal,or even somewhat intellectual being would do? To be frank with you, the colonist were not justified to cut ties with England when they did so because they didn't comply to the british rules, even when it was for their safety, constantly mistreated tax collectors for simply doing their jobs, and weren't mature enough to see that the so called boston massacre was merely an act of self defense.

According to Deborah Grey, the author of history alive, “King George issued The Proclamation of 1763, this law banned settlement west of the appalachian mountains.”This is the first of quite a few worthy reasons the colonist were not justified to start a revolution . They tried to colonize west even after the British said that they couldn't because that would be creating tension with the French and Native Americans. A fair enough claim especially due to over in England the british relations with france were quite weary. But of course the patriots couldn't wait until the french and british were at cool ground again and were selfish enough to settle westwards without even a thought to ask the british for consent. They conspired behind his back and tried to go against his years of setting the colonies up. The rowdy patriots held secret meetings. According to History Alive, The sons of liberty was one of the many secret societies against the king the colonist have started. (pg.100, paragraph 3) Does this sound like something a mature and ready to be independent nation would do? What makes you think they won't do it
