Have you ever been bullied, disrespected or pushed around? How did you feel? For the citizens of the Boston this feeling would come to a head on March 5,1770. On this day one of the most important events leading up to the American Revolution occurred, the Boston Massacre. But was it murder or self defense? After looking at evidence, one can only come to the conclusion…. this event was murder.

The Boston Massacre was murder! The reason it's murder because in document 1, there is an eyewitness named John Tudor That says “The captain commanded the soldiers to fire.” This means the soldiers shot the crowd on purpose because they were told to. Another reason why it would be murder is because In document 5 it says there were six shots and 11 wounded.
