In the book, The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao, three main characters were introduced, Oscar, Lola, and Belicia. There was also a hidden main character, La Inca who is Belicia’s aunt. Lola is Oscar’s older sister; Belicia is the mother of both Oscar and Lola. In this book, we could change an old saying a little bit, “Like mother like daughter”.
