Viruses are things that may infect the human body and interfere with normal body functions. Viruses are AIDS, influenza, common cold, polio, etc. If a person has a virus in the spring your body will make up bacteria to be able to fight it off the next time you get it..You could have similar virus that feels the same and has the same symptoms but may have different characteristics. By different characteristics I mean there's a possibility of secondary infections such as bacterial sinusitis. Doctors say patients can get back-to-back colds. People can pick up more than 200 known viruses that can cause the common cold, some of which are worse than others. When people say their cold won’t go away it is because of back-to-back infections.
