The Plaintiff’s, Tom and Sue, parents and legal guardians of Laura, are suing Camper’s Discount Warehouse and Grey Hospital, defendants, seeking compensatory damages for the mental and physical harm Laura experienced when a display of cooking stoves fell from a sky shelf in the warehouse. The negligence of the company in product positioning, caution notices, and safe environment holds them responsible for the injuries Laura attained. Her injuries included a concussion, broken right arm, and memory loss. Following the incident there was a loss of personal property, for which the hospital was negligent in care.

Security cameras show Laura is trying on a ski coat in the aisle, where she bumped the shelves. It was then that the cooking stoves fell, but for lack of secureness they would not have come crashing down.
Laura was immediately sent to the nearest hospital in an ambulance. The attendant, John Doe II, removed a diamond necklace and a ruby, diamond ring she had worn into the discount store. Doe II turned over Laura’s belongings to the hospital, which were checked in on the hospital’s system by the nurse on call upon arrival.
Doctor John Doe III diagnosed Laura with a concussion and a broken right arm. The severity of the concussion led to memory loss. Laura was right-hand dominant and cannot recall any sense of identity. Her career had been in pediatric dentistry; because of the injuries sustained it is unforeseeable when she will be able to return to her previous lifestyle. Not only Laura, but her fiancé Randy and parents are suffering from emotional distress.
