Hubbard House is a one of Florida’s pioneering services for domestic violence and their children. Jacksonville, FL was a leader in developing services to address violence and the women’s movement. A group of enthusiastic women bought a house on Hubbard Street in Jacksonville, FL to provide a shelter specifically for victims of domestic violence and their children in Florida. Hubbard House works to promote and ensure safety for victims of domestic violence and their families, social change through education and advocacy, as well as empowerment of victims.
