Come and experience the exciting wonders of Catalina Island’s Emerald Bay’s Mountain Sea Adventure Camp! Here you have tons of interesting activities like snorkeling, kayaking, night and day hiking, and much and much more! There are tons of Christian Counselors who are there to help you break your fears and will be with you every step of the way! The cabins are old but neat and tidy, easy to clean up and there can be up to eight people in one cabin. The cabins all have names that vary from Royal Hawaiian to the Waldorf. There are many choices for meals, from sausage and eggs at breakfast to enchiladas with beans and rice for dinner!

There are many options for activities and things to do. Our school participates in a few of the activities including, kayaking, swimming, snorkeling, and night and day hiking. When you do the snorkeling try to snorkel on a clear day with smooth waters. This will enable you to see much more than if you went on a windy day with cloudy waters. Some animals you may see include: Garibaldi, Kelp Bass, Black-Smith, Halfmoon and so many more! You will also go hiking, during the day and the night. During the day hike you will go on a short hike and get to see the stretch of mainland and an amazing view of the ocean, it really reflects God’s glory! The night hike is called the Trust Walk, everyone is blindfolded and you will stand in a long chain, then you will walk in a line talking to and guiding each other while you walk. When you have free swimming in the ocean they will put out the giant lily pad, which is like a huge pad that floats in the water, up to 8 people fit on it at a time. When you sit on it, see if you can stand on it, and you won’t drift away because it is anchored. Another fun activity is that you get to practice kayaking and then compete in a kayak tournament! Also, the tournament is totally optional, and if you choose not to, you will be a runner who pulls the kayak in and out of the
