In chapter 4, The Feedlot of Michael Pollan’s, The Omnivore’s Dilemma, he talks about the efficiency of mass productions of food are held at a higher priority; and how the health of the animals, the people and the environment are blatantly disregarded. Between the antibiotics, the manure high in nitrogen and.. and the huge variety of diseases from the “concentrated diet of corn” (Pollan 78) Pollan states that everyone is being effected.
