When people think about sisters they think about who gets the most time in the bathroom, they don't think about sisters who fought against dictatorship together. The Mirabal sisters are heroes. They're heroes because fgeg are strong, determined, and fearless women girls of all ages should aspire to be.

Not only are the Mirabal sisters heroes but they are fearless. They are fearless because they decided to go against Trujillo, the dictator of the Dominican Republic, knowing the dangers. Another example of when they were fearless was when they went to visit their husband. Their husbands had been previously incarcerated by Trujillo because of their involvement with their wives protest. The Mirabal sisters knew that if they went to visit their husbands they would be prosecuted. They would be prosecuted because of their protest against Trujillo. The sisters still decided to visit their husbands, sacrificing their lives. The Mirabal's sisters choices proved that they are not known to be weak.

The. Mirabal sisters were determined to make a difference when they continued to protest after being released from jail. The Mirabal sister had so much passion for what they were doing that they knew they wouldn't stop until Trujillo was removed. They also spread the word of their situation to their town, they wanted as much help as they could get to overthrow their dictator. Another reason they are determined is because they died trying to achieve their goal. They died knowing they were someones hero, not only as a daughter but as a woman I know that other women should look up to them as
