Chesapeake colonies were composed of Virginia- with Jamestown which was established in 1607 and Maryland. Each of these colonies had same agricultural development based on tobacco, cotton, and indigo. The main question we have is: what was the source of labor to Chesapeake colonies and how did it affect the society?
