It was while working in the Department of Psychiatry during the third year of my medical school, when I became fascinated with the mental health and started to think of health in terms beyond physical illness. It was an intellectually stimulating experience which motivated to further pursue Psychiatry as a career. I ended up volunteering the next months with the department of Psychiatry.

Working in the different settings of Psychiatry, I developed a special attachment with Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. I have always enjoyed working with children.
