August-September: This morning we left Hatbor on board Columbus’s ship. It is said that we will reach India in three weeks. This is my first time ever being on a ship, which makes me nervous, but I hear Columbus is a very good Captain. I hear the Pinta, one of the other ships had rudder problems, but we were still able to make 87 miles today. We are headed for Grand Canary. The Pinta had to stop at Grand Canary for repairs. Our boat sailed ahead and when we came Back in two days Martin Pinzon had not yet repaired it and Colombus was determined to repair it.
Today we sailed past something that erupted and had orange and yello stuff coming out of it and I was terribly frightened, but Colombus assured us that this was called a volcano and …show more content…
Colombus gladly accepted them as crew people. Colombus is mad because Martin sailed away without Colombus’s consent. Today we left an we went past an island called Bohio. The indians were scared because there were cyclops tha lived there and they had many guns. Today we have saw streams coming out of mountains and it was a joyous sight. We also saw birds and flowers. It is truly to beautiful to explain.

December: We have decided to leave Cuba. I heard we are going to Bohio which the indians says there are people there who eat people. We came to an island today and Colombus had me and some others go do some trading. Some indians came and told us this island is full of gold. Today while Colombus was sleeping and another man was manning the ship we heard the rudder touch ground. Colombus ordered us jobs but we were frightened and jumbed overboard.

January: We have left the island today. We sailed east toward a high mountain. Today the Pinta rejoined with us and as I heard it Martin Pinzon made many excuses for why he left us. They had traded for much gold. Today we seperated from the Pinzon and were able to kill a shark which is are main supply of food now.
