Classism is an issue that many people don’t know about or even cares about. Now you’re probably wondering what classism means it is unfair treatment of people because of their social class. Many people think that it will just go away but it’s not the country needs to start solving and giving fair treatment to others not because of their social class. In this paper I will be talking about classism in many things in education, athletics and the workplace.

This time I will be talking about something that everyone loves sports. Every year The Boston Globe ranks the schools by how many wins and guess what the richest schools win the most games because they have better players. And there are more the richer towns like the Hamptons also field more teams which make them win even more (Classism.org). In athletics it should all be fair game right isn’t that the most important thing the game shouldn’t be judged by how much money you have or how much your family makes weather you’re wealthy or poor it should all be fair game in sports and should not be judged by classism.

What is shocking is that a man who runs a business is worried about his company’s success because he hired people who are a lower class then him that’s unfair but it does raise a question “Does Organizational culture affect those who were raised in poverty or wealth”. Classism in The workplace is an issue that has still hasn’t been solved which concerns a lot of people because it doesn’t matter whether you came from rich or poor or even the middle class. The Wealthy can use the board of casualty to hire people they trust not a person whose poor or part of the middle class
