Throughout the passage, “Clover”, it shows how close a teacher, Graham, is with his students. Graham has unique characteristics in the classroom and at home, also Graham shows amazing interactions with his students’. Graham’s students also react very well to it all. Graham has amazing students who were taught, “from teachers who treated them like grownups.” In the classroom, Graham talks about, “working feverishly on my house since the day I bought it two years ago.” Graham talking about his house shows that he is comfortable with talking to the students about his life outside of the classroom, inside of the classroom.
