More and more students are getting enrolled into college therefore causing the cost of tuitions to rise up.colleges are making tuition more expensive to be able to buy the tools and resources that we need. The money is going towards tools, teachers, and sub activities. College tuition is getting more expensive for students because universities are using the funds to pay for the activities and administrations whose costs increase annually. Without administrators there wouldn’t be anyone who would be in charge of the campuses. Our colleges are getting more and more expensive because they pay for the administratives and teachers that are there to help the students. The States are lowering their funds towards colleges which is causing colleges to raise their tuition costs for us to pay. Government are using more money now on pell grant which is causing the colleges to lose more state funds therefore we have to pay more to get in. This caused college to raise their tuition costs because colleges are losing more and more money from the government. However, colleges have been increasing throughout the years. Tuition at a four year public college has risen more than 100% since 2001. tuition and fees across the systems were about $2,000 a year. As Sandy Baum says, “it’s not that colleges are spending more money to educate students, It’s that they have to get that money from someplace to replace their lost state funding”(Sandy Baum). Although government claims to say education is important they have decreased the state fundings to colleges therefore making it harder for us, the student to be able to pay for college. The government has been paying less and less state fundings that the students have to suffer and pay huge tuitions just to be in
