In the story “Noah Count and the Arkansas Ark” by Gary Blackwood, the narrator demonstrates the value of education by showing the audience that Gary doesn’t agree with them at first about all their silly beliefs and his attitude about them, but was later on shown that they were indeed correct. The narrator shows in the beginning that Gary thinks they are wrong, but starts to get more convinced in the middle of the story, and then ends up believing them after all.
