Crispus Attucks was an African American, historical figure who was born in 1723, in Farmingham, Massachusetts. His father was said to be a prince who was sold into slavery and his mother was believed to be part of the Natick Indian tribe. Not much is really known about Crispus and his life, but what was menitoned is that he never attended school because he was born and raised as a slave, and eventually became a run away slave. Being that he was wanted for being a runaway slave, there wasn’t many places he could go to and maintain an occupation at the same time, but that doesnt mean he didnt try. He was so skilled in the art of buying and trading goods that he ended up securing a proffession as a seaman in Boston for two decades. Crispus Attucks
