The movie Crude Impact shines a direct light on the destruction use of oil in western society’s. Currently we have bleed the Earth half the world’s oil. Why because our constant need for things drive us to want more to be happy. Material growth over rid everything. The American way of life is especially not sustainable. We’re expanding our use of oil on a year to year bases. The world doesn’t have the recourses for this continues way of life.
In my opinion the deliberate ignorance of the problem of over use of natural resource is not taken in account. We’re using so much that when the world peak of oil we will have no idea what will be used to sustain daily life. Our action at this current time is already affect the next generation heavily.
