Dao Similar To Nirvana

From what I have read in the primary source, I think that the Dao is similar to Nirvana, where it can’t be explained and where you are everything but you are nothing. It is what becomes of you after death and what followers hope to achieve. In the passage it is said to be a mystery, and that it is “all that is subtle and wonderful.” (Legg, 2015) To me that sounds similar to the energy you become when you achieve moksha in Hinduism, or when you achieve Nirvana in Buddhism. Dao is known as being wonderful and a person should strive to achieve it, but no one knows exactly why it is so wonderful. The Dao is when you become immortal after death, maybe you turn into energy, or maybe become godlike. It isn’t a thing that you can feel or touch; but it exists.
