Rape is a reoccurring crime that happens every 6 minutes. There are many different types of rape like college campus rapes, military rapes, and the most popular form of rape: date rape. Date rape is a form of rape where the rapist intoxicates their victim to get them to become unconscious during their cruel act to keep the girl from fidgeting. Date rape victims have been the ones who are blamed for allowing the rapist to rape them. There are groups of people who believe it is the victims fault for wearing provocative clothing and by going on the date with the rapist in the first place. Others say it is the rapist who is guilty because he led the girl to believe he was normal, but then drugged her and kept her unconscious for his acts of “pleasure”.
