All through time there were lots and lots of mathematicians one specific mathematician I choose to write about is David Hilbert . David was born on January 23 1862 in konigsberg Prussia Germany . His father was named Otto Hilbert he was a city judge his mother Maria was a philosophy and astronomy enthusiast . David's mother was a vary smart with number and shapes . He was eight years old when he first started school at friedrichskolleg the school had a junior section which he attended school for two years before entering the gymnasium of the friedrichskolleg in 1872 . Then in 1883 a man named Adolf Hurwitz he came to the same university so him and David became friends also. On February 1885 he defended two propositions in public disputation one of David's one of propositions was an physics and the other one in philosophy that was the last stage of his doctorate. Then was awarded he spent a month following the award of his doctorate taking and passing the staatsexamen so that he could teach at the Gymnasium. After he went back to Konigsberg he was a member of the staff from 1886 to 1895 being a privatdozent until 1892. Then became a Extraordinary professor for a year before he became a full professor in 1893. David took a trip to Gottigenn when he got back he married his second cousin Kathe Jeroseh on October 12 1892. Then the two had a son named Franz Hilbert born on August 27th 1893. In 1930 David retired but only for a few years later in 1933 life in Gottingen got bad Nazis came to power and Jewish teachers were gone. So David started teaching for Jews who needed it. after he was done with that one day he fell and broke his arm that really stopped him from doing anything else it had a huge impact on his death a year later.
