~ Political crimes are illegal acts that are designed to undermine an existing government and then to threaten its survival. These types of acts can include both non-violent and violent acts. Political crime acts can range in seriousness from treason, espionage, dissent, as well as violent acts of terrorism or even assassination.

-What is the nature of political crimes?

~ There are many ways of Political crimes. Political crimes may come from ideological or even religious sources. Typically, their motivations can be selfish personal reasons to selfless or even noble motivations. Usually, Political crimes are in a very gray area between outlawed and conventional type of behaviors.

-What are the goals of political criminals?

~ The goals of political criminals consist of: Profit, Intimidation, Conviction, Pseudo-conviction as well as Revolution.

Political crime is often divided into five varieties which consists of: (1) political corruption, (2) illegal domestic surveillance, (3) violations of human rights,(4) state violence whether it is illegal imprisonment, torture or even police violence as well as the use of deadly force and (5) state corporate crime committed by individuals who abuse their state’s authority or those who fail to exercise it when working with individuals or organizations in a sector that is private.
