What is Dia de los muertos? Dia de los muertos is a Mexican holiday that is celebrated on the 1st and 2nd of November. The Mexican people believe that on the 1st all the adults will rise from the dead, and on the 2nd the children rise from the dead. And when its all over they non-stop party. What makes it so significant? The fact that they believe that they come back to life. If I celebrated that it would probably be emotional just remembering my family that’s dead is really emotional. It would also be scary just knowing that there are dead people around me is freakin SCARY!!!! What are some ways they celebrate? They put a lot of face paint on and make themselves look like skulls or ghosts. They also decorate their loved ones graves
