In this story, Diary of Anne Frank, the Frank’s, a jewish family, go into with the Van Daans and Mr. Dussel in order to hide from the Nazis. The Franks include Mr. Frank (father), Mrs. Frank (mother), Margot (oldest daughter), and Anne (youngest daughter). The Van Daans include Mr. Van Daan (father), Mrs. Van Daan (mother), and Peter (son). Mr. Dussel, a dentist, came later to live with them. The two families have been living in the Secret Annex for two years till getting caught by the Green Police. Throughout hiding, the one person that seemed to show courage, compassion, and sacrifice is Mr.
