Tell me the last time you picked up a nice drink and thought about your first experience with drinking. Underage drinking is happening all over the world. Also, it has been going on for hundreds of years. In our life, we all have had a drink of alcohol before the set age. What makes the government think that they should regulate what age or when in our lives should we be able to drink. Understandably, toddlers shouldn’t be running around with a cold brew in their sippy cups but should there really be a drinking age? Throughout time, there has been many set ages for when people can legally drink. So, what should the drinking age be for the last time?

It also shows the relationship between drinking and risky sexual behaviors among young adults. By using data from the National Longitudinal Survey of Youth, they show that young adults tend to drink up to 2.1 days more when they have access to alcohol at age 21. In the document, it also shows several different birth control methods for those who had sex in the past 4 weeks.
I can use this article by showing that young adults hardly increase their alcohol consumption when they turn 21. Proving that the consumption of alcohol by minors would not be a major fact, when considering changing the legal drinking age.
