Early on in my life, my father became ill and eventually his illness took away his ability to work and actively participate in my activities. His disease was irreversible, so I decided to stand on my own feet and craft a mark for myself. With maturity, perseverance and the ability to delay gratification along with the desire to serve others, I committed to the journey to become an Eagle Scout. I proudly became an Eagle Scout at age sixteen. My journey to Eagle was one of commitment, good ethics and exemplary citizenship as I grew to become who I am today, a trustworthy leader and a person of integrity.
