Ebenezer Scrooge In A Christmas Carol

Have you ever watched or read the movie/book a Christmas carol? If so you know that it is about a man named Ebenezer Scrooge that is mean to people and doesn't like Christmas is visited by three ghost's to try to help him straighten up his ways and be nicer to people. In the movie he says "Men's courses will foreshadow certain ends,to which, if preserved in, they must lead.But if the courses be departed from, the ends will change. Say it thus with that you show me." I think that what he meant when he said this was that if you change the bad path or course that you are on and get on a straighter path your forever resting place will be more humble.

Even though he never said his name scrooge was sure he was "the ghost of Christmas future". When the ghost showed up he showed a worker that scrooge had which scrooge had given a poor payment too. The ghost showed scrooge the workers son being very sick and eventually dead. He then saw that he needed to help. When he and the ghost appeared back in present time it was Christmas day and Scrooge delivered presents and a huge turkey to the family and stayed to eat with them. The boy actually lived because of the nice things Scrooge had done and the way he changed his life.

I think that scrooge meant what his conclusion was to the quote he stated. He said that the way you live life and do things can affect other people but if you change and do right you will have a better life and so will other people. I think that his conclusion is correct and the way he changed his life will better his and others. If you have been going down the wrong path try a better path and you will see all the joy you will have in your life. Have a Merry
