In The Awakening by Kate Chopin, Edna undergoes many important progresses that may be rude or unexpected. Which are the feelings she feels towards her husband and becomes more self-aware and begins to analyze her behavior.
The feelings she feels towards her husband changes through time. Edna begins to find herself, “but whatever came, she had resolved never again to belong to another than herself.” This is showing how she has decided to become her own women.
