“Self-Reliance”
“Self-Reliance” is an 1841 essay written by philosopher Ralph Waldo Emerson. I personally agree on what Emerson wants from his readers. His main goal was to encourage his readers to be honest in their relationships with god and other people, and to be independent and follow your own individual ideas. In my opinion I think that the more you are connected to god the more you are protected or on the safe side. Same thing with your relationship the more you are connected to your loved ones the more you feel safe and protected. The other thing that Emerson wants his readers to understand is that be independent and don’t let nobody take control over you.
