Teen activists are teens who are willing to stand up for what they believe. Emily Anne Rigal a full time student, is giving her time to help stop bullying. Malala was twelve years old when the taliban bombed and shut down schools in her village. Now she is standing up for girls rights. Faye Carey has chores and homework. Yet she still volunteers every Friday and, 3 hours a night she schedules for people to view the dogs to give them a second chance.

When people doubted her she felt the need to prove herself so she started the WeStopHate. A site for kids to raise their self-esteem and report bullying. One day on the way home she was shot by the taliban. While in the hospital her and her dad where setting up the Malala fund. Also she was still speaking to her supporters. The people were protesting, praying, and sending letters to her. Back at swat her village in pakistan people girls could not go on the streets unless they were fully covered and with a man. Some people were just too scared to leave their homes. Though the taliban were still after her she and her dad (a teacher) still taught kids.
