Everybody needs a friend in this world at least. The Epic of Gilgamesh story tells us about Gilgamesh and Enkidu. Friendship was important in the story. It shows how Gilgamesh grief and trying his best to bring his friend Enkidu back to life. It shows us how strong their friendship is.

Before Gilgamesh met Enkidu he was a king that had never treated anyone with equal rights. Enkidu was design to destroy Gilgamesh because he was a god who was mean to his people. Enkidu meet Gilgamesh at the wedding ceremony. Both of fight unit Enkidu gives up. After the fight they became friends.
