My Reflection on Application of Analytic Methods Course The nursing profession of today’s world has called for the elevation of the advanced nursing education to a higher degree for a better patient outcome (Cronenwett, et al., 2011), and in 2004, the American association of college s of nursing (ANCN) gave approval for the training of all advanced practice registered nurses (APRN) in the doctor of nursing practice (DNP) program (Potempa, 2011). In reference to the APRN approval for a higher degree, I decided to go back to school to earn a DNP degree. Looking back at my journey to earning the DNP degree at Chamberlain, I will proudly say that today I have completed a 16 week of 80 weeks of my DNP journey that the ANCN has advocated for. Therefore, the following account is a self-reflection of my experience in the application to analytical methods class. …show more content…
My learning experiences during the eight weeks class section has been quite versed, as we dealt with different topics, assignment and discussions that range from PICOT question development to DNP project dissemination.
