In the movie Annie, there was a theme of Annie the main Character who was living in a orphanage with Miss Hannigan, who has a brother who's name is Rooster and his airhead girlfriend Lily. Living with Annie in the orphanage also include other girls whose names are Molly, Pepper, Duffy, Kate, Tessie, and July. They all once had parents but all lost them in a different way, some girls parents died, some could no longer pay for their child like when Josh in the book No Promises In The Wind Josh and Joey’s parents could no longer take care of them, and some girls were born with not well ready parents. She once told Annie her parents left her even though she knew they were dead and Annie believed her she was waiting for the day her parents would walk through the orphanage door to see her parents grabbing her a never letting go. One day a worker for Warbucks came to the orphanage wanting to adopt a child for Warbucks.
