In today's courts there are many different members in the system that play significant role in keeping the court organized. The parties are people who directly involved in a lawsuit are. Witnesses give testimony about the facts or issues in the case that are in dispute. During their testimony, witnesses are asked to testify by one party or the other. In a courtroom, Lawyers are people who are suppose to bring out the facts to the judge on why his or her client is innocent. One of the more important members of the courtroom is the judge his job is to preside over the proceedings and see that order is maintained, find out whether any of the evidence that the parties want to use is illegal or improper and to sentence convicted criminals. The court reporter sits near the witness stand and reports everything that is said during the trial. In early American court systems were far from being organized. One example of early ethical issues in court is the state of Delaware, up until 1897 they did not allow an appeal in criminal cases. This is absolutely absurd that even though the American court system was fully running by 1776. You think Delaware being one of the 13 original colonies and being the first state of the united states, that they would of been the first to fix the issue. Another ethical issue that is on a raise in the United States is social media being used in the courtroom. Some of the ways that social media is being used as jury selection process. There are also instances where jurors have posted information about the trail on social media which is not allowed and is illegal. Another issue is whether or not a consul can use a witness social media to find out whether or not to impeach
