From a consequential perspective my actions would be based on the results of my behavior. So outsourcing jobs in a different country would be ethical, because if I don’t then I run the risk of the company going out of business. In that case it would not help me, the stockholders, nor the American workers. Regardless if I outsource or not the workers will eventually not have a job and this would be unethical.

From a Rule-based perspective my actions would need to be consistent with every situation I encounter. Since I have stockholders who have entrusted me with their money.
