Macbeth is a character whose courage slowly turned from good to evil. As the play began Macbeth is known as the valiant soldier whose strength and bravery essentially save Scotland on the battlefield. For that reason Macbeth truly deserved the praises that were bestowed upon him such as, when the King says “What he hath lost, noble Macbeth hath won” (Shakespeare 1.2.75) However as the play progressed, Macbeth’s courageous actions deviated from protecting the country to committing crimes to sought a higher rank.
