Some social issues prior to the 1920’s were in World War 1. These issues were woman doing what men could, for example, steel industries. Where they use to be house wives, servants, etc. to something more professional like, a doctor, social worker, etc. Alcohol was banned even though people found their way that and drank anyways, during this time period people had to get their alcohol at the Black Market. This later lead to people getting sick because of the different ways alcohol was being made.
