The development of CWD has not been fully indicated (Miller & Williams, 2015). The ideal concept of this fatal neurological disease is through an agent called a prion, which has further progressed overtime into an abnormal form of a normal protein better known as “cellular prion protein”. Furthermore, the prion corrupts the host animal by conversion of the normal cellular prion to the abnormal form the prions that expand in the brain and lymph nodes tissues and are considered to be contributing factors to this degeneration of normal mental function resulting in a slow progressive fatal neurodegenerative disease (Spickler, 2004). The

transmission of CWD is not exactly known either. However, it is transmitted from animal to animal laterally.
