WHAT ABOUT YOUR FRIENDS? The best show to ever air on national television is Friends. Friends is the television sitcom that aired from 1994-2004, and presently still has reruns on CW Network and TBS. Friends cast consists of Jennifer Anniston as Rachel, Courtney Cox-Arquette as Monica, Matt Leblanc as Joey, David Schwimmer as Ross, Lisa Kudrow as Phoebe, and Matthew Perry as Chandler. Friends’ is a sitcom series about six people who live in the Central park area of New York City, and they frequently hang out in a café relatively named Central Perk. Different episodes consist of them finding themselves in some sort of strange and bizarre situations. The episodes are unusually funny but periodically they can be serious, with all of them in abundance trying to learn about life. Ross is a Paleontologist, who is in love with Rachel, and has been since he was in college. During the first season, he tries to build up the courage to tell her how he feels about her, but then life throws them curveballs and they both wind up being in unsuccessful relationships. Rachel is Monica’s (Ross’ sister) best friend and roommate, who come from a wealthy family. She never worked prior to walking out on her fiancée at the altar and ends up becoming a waitress at Central Perk café. Ross and Rachel finally get together; Rachel soon gets a job that she enjoys, working for Ralph Lauren, then Ross and Rachel break up. They secretly have a one night stand and Rachel becomes pregnant eventually giving birth to their daughter Emma in Season Eight. Monica is a chef and an out of control neat freak who feels as if everything has to be in order strategically. She is also obsessed with having children, which in Season Nine, after she marries Chandler; she realizes she can’t bear children. Chandler is a data entry specialist, who shares an apartment with Joey across the hall from Monica and Rachel. Chandler and Monica start sneaking around in Season Six at Ross’ wedding. They realize they actually love each other so Chandler ultimately tries to propose to Monica. Chandler then gets scared at the thought of it when he thinks about his parents’ marriage and how things didn’t work out with them because his dad preferred men and also wanted to be a woman. Ultimately they get married at the end of Season Seven and they adopt twins in Season Ten. Joey is an actor on the soap opera “Days of Our Lives” and he is very airheaded and he is also a ladies’ man. Joey gets killed of the soap opera he stars in because he told a reporter he writes his own work. Joey then has a few acting gigs that flop and eventually is allowed back on the show he starred in after he receives a brain transplant after falling down an elevator shaft from a female co-star and comes back as a woman.
