I read a great heart-warming novel called “The Art of Racing in the Rain” by Garth Stein. The story is written through the eyes of a family dog named Enzo who manages to keep his family together through difficult times. He analyzes human behavior and gives his own dog perspective on situations and issues, which was really cool to read about. The book is uplifting and happy yet sad and introspective at other times. It taught me a lot about love, appreciation, loyalty and the importance of family and friends. Enzo’s loyalty and unconditional love towards his family is inspiring and its effect on me was very powerful. I personally relate to this because there have been dogs in my life ever since I was born and I truly understand that human animal
