The moral successes of George Patton during his military career contributed to the demolition of the most horror-filled series of events in history. Without the help of many like George Patton, the world could be a completely different place. It is the actions of those who possess moral courage which makes the world a better place to live in. Having discovered the important actions of George Patton, I now realize how to value not only my own life, but the life of every human being. General George Patton displayed his moral courage in many places all over the world. During World War II, General Patton served in France, Germany, and many other countries in the continents of Europe and Africa. His valiant efforts in the Battle at Cambrai in northern France allowed for the advancement of Allied Powers farther inland. I believe that General George Patton displayed some of the greatest courage that this world has ever seen. Even though he may not be known by everybody, he still made a huge impact on how we live our lives today. Many have had their own definitions for the term moral courage. I believe that moral courage is having the strength to take on any challenge even if it seems impossible to accomplish. General Patton displayed his moral courage through his battle strategy, his faith-filled attitude, and his compassion for his men. He could have easily thrown in the towel and given up on everyone, letting them die. Instead, Patton embraced his challenge. I am not sure if General Patton understood how impactful his actions would be in the future, but something inside of me knows that he realized was making a difference. I know that if I was in his position, with all the disadvantages I would have on my shoulders, I would have given up. This man never had a doubt that they would
