Good Boss versus Bad Boss
How would you feel if you called in to work sick and your boss sympathized but asked when the project you were working on would be finished? If you like most people you would feel guilty about calling in and wonder if you should head to work. How about if you called in sick to work and your boss sympathized and told you to rest up and feel better soon? Would you still feel guilty or would you cuddle down in your bed to rest off the sickness? When comparing the difference between a good boss and a bad boss the perception is largely based on the opinion of the employees.

Employees who feel they are valued members of the team will have the desire to do and achieve more because the feeling of importance to the organization. When an employee feels important, he or she will more likely contribute to more than just the required job duties such as join committee’s to help better the organization. These employees will also be more likely to share ideas that may be helpful without feeling their efforts are falling on deaf ears.
A not so good boss (bad boss), when presented with an employee problem will usually react in an emotional way which it entirely counteractive to solving the issue.
